Lake Investigations began operations in 1980. Our first office opened in the Los Angles area. That same year, we moved to Sacramento California and have been here ever since. The company was founded by Danny Lake, who in 1972, was working as an Undercover Investigator, Surveillance Investigator and Research Investigator. Since the company's inception, Lake Investigations has focused primarily on Worker's Compensation Surveillance or as we say in the industry, Sub-Rosa. Lake Investigations has become one of the best investigation companies in Northern California in the fight against Workers Compensation Fraud.
